Houston Storm Part II

Over twelve hundred rescues occurred over high water. This flood was literally a record high for Houston. Thousands of homes flooded. Over 120,000 homes were without power for days. Over 3000 square miles were affected by this flood water. To put that into perspective that’s two Rhode Islands. This flood was not even a hurricane and it was something that broke records.

            As a restoration company, we had to deal with this on our work place and on our home front. To start we had our own office flood. Something that Chris, the owner of the franchise, was not expecting to happen on his first year as an owner! Also, some of our own homes received flood water. Luckily, we knew someone in the restoration business to take care of it.
