Hurricane Harvey
As Houstonians, we are used to hurricanes. We group up in them. There is a pattern that every hurricane has. First it starts with the news. Every time I watch the news talk about a hurricane it starts with speculation and belief that the reporter is exaggerating. Then as the hurricane gets closer and the reporter hasn’t changed his story, other than saying that the hurricane is getting bigger and still going to hit us, survival mode starts to kick in. You go to the store to get supplies and notice that everyone else has had the same idea as you! The water isle is almost none existent and the grocery store is a mad house. Finally, you get what you need to wait out the hurricane and get out of the mad house.
