Pack- outs

Pack outs can be an essential part of the restoration process. Here at SERVPRO of Katy/Cypress, we do such jobs all the time. We do pack-outs after water losses, fire and or smoke damages. 

Damaged property will be removed and transported for processing and restored, after an initial inspection to determine whether or not an item can be restored. All contents will be checked for existing damages and documented before being sent out. Small items will be individually wrapped in paper, boxed, labeled and inventoried. Large items like wooden furniture will be carefully inspected, using high intensity light to detect all damages. Items that do not require be packed out will be secured and protected while repairs are made to the property. 

Some affected items can be cleaned in place to prevent acidic residues and further damage. Restoration process will be monitored and the property owner will be informed of the status, before items are ready to go back to home owner or business.
