Hurricane Season
5/1/2019 (Permalink)
That time of year is upon us. Starting June 1st marks the beginning of hurricane season. Hurricane season is the period in a year when hurricanes usually form in the Atlantic Ocean. Tropical cyclones in the North Atlantic are called hurricanes. When Cyclones form in the southern Atlantic or Gulf of Mexico, they are know as depressions. Here at SERVPRO of Katy/Cypress, we train and prepare for this all year because of the implications that storms can bring to our community. We understand that its our responsibility to take care of our community, by making sure that we are prepared to help and/or restore in a timely manor. Do you have an emergency plan? We urge the wonderful people of our community to prep on their end as much as possible so that we can do our part faster in case of an catastrophic like storm such as hurricane Harvey. If anyone has any concerns or questions, please contact us at SERVPRO of Katy/Cypress, we will be happy to help in anyway possible.
