Damage Caused by Storms

Storm damage caused by powerful hurricanes can cause severe property damage and flooding. These types of storms can be frightening and safety has to be your first priority. Most of the members in these communities learned that back in 2009 when Hurricane Ike hit. If they didn't learn then, they certainly learned when Hurricane Harvey came to town in 2017. Both of these storms caused millions of dollars in damages.  Damage from hurricane winds and storm surges with heavy rains impose costs on private entities, such as households and businesses.
